Online advertising has increased during the last couple of years. In 2010, corporations paid around fifty billion dollars advertising and marketing on line. This number is predicted to move up noticeably this year.
For example online ad spending in the US will grow by over 20% this year, passing the $30 billion mark and social networks will recieve 11% of online ad spending at the end of 2011.

The impact of Pay-Per-Click

Pay-Per-Click, commonly abbreviated to PPC, is an online advertising method where your advertisement in text format is placed on the results page within a search engines.
The ad usually appears to the side and on top of the organic search results, ie in the SEM. You only pay for the advertising campaign if people click on your advertisement ; hence the term Pay-Per-Click.
